Cyber Systems Engineer
Position Description:
Ensures products and systems comply with requirements and government information assurance and cyber security standards and practices through formal verification methods. Verifies/validates systems with specific emphasis on network operations and cyber warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures focused on the threat to information networks. Assesses security performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures. Prepares assessments and cyber threat profiles of current and planned products based on sophisticated testing, research, and
analysis. Participates in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the
current system and traceability of requirements. Reviews test plans/procedures and ensures they
verify/validate the requirements. Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing
requirements. Produces high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for senior US
government intelligence and operations officials. Provide identification and classification of system and network vulnerabilities, providing mitigation and remediation recommendations. Prepare and maintain vulnerability tracking reports for senior officials. Perform assessment of information systems, based upon the Risk Management Framework (RMF). Advise the Delegated Authorizing Official (DAO) on any assessment and authorization issues. Advise the Delegated Authorizing Official (DAO), Office of Chief Information Officer (OCIO), and/or Program Security Officer (PSO) on assessment methodologies and processes. Evaluate Authorization packages and make recommendation to the DAO for authorization.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have active TS/SCI with poly
- Requires 9 years with BS/BA or 7 years with MS/MA.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Science, Technology, Engineering or mathematics (STEM)
- Must possess DOD 8570 certification in Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level I at date of hire
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communications skills (verbal, written and presentation).
- Familiar with the Risk Management Framework (RMF)

Systems Engineer
Type of Employment: Full-Time
Position Description (multiple positions):
We are looking for qualified Systems Engineers to provide technical expertise in the role of Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) to various government IT program offices. The successful candidates will be integrated within IT programs to produce and assess various program artifacts and perform critical tasks such as:
- Concept of Operations (CONOPS) Development and Review: Create and evaluate CONOPS documents to ensure they align with program objectives and stakeholder needs.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitate communication and coordination among various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and program success.
- Documentation Review and Assessment: Analyze and critique program documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.
- Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage risks through the Risk/Issue/Opportunity (R/I/O) process to mitigate potential issues and capitalize on opportunities.
- Readiness Process Artifacts Production: Develop and manage the necessary artifacts required for program readiness and deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and expertise in systems engineering.
- Develop and review technical documentation and program artifacts.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
- Conduct risk assessments and manage risks through the R/I/O process.
- Produce and maintain artifacts for the readiness process.
- Ensure compliance with program standards and government regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Must possess and be able to maintain an active TS/SCI with Poly.
- 2-7 years of experience in systems engineering, preferably within government or defense sectors.
- Proven understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle and processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in risk management and documentation review.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with SETA and working within government program offices.
- Familiarity with CONOPS development and stakeholder coordination.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Certification in systems engineering (e.g., INCOSE CSEP).
- Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle.
SIGINT Systems Engineer
Type of Employment: Full-Time
Position Description:
The selected candidate will be an experienced SIGINT Systems Engineer, to help guide new and existing SIGINT programs as they evolve to commercial trends like Agile development, Cloud migration, Automation techniques (AI/ML), and streamlined DevOps deployments to our users in operations. The selected candidate will be a technical member of a dynamic systems engineering team that informs the Government Program Management Office of the successes and challenges of the SIGINT systems as well as provide recommendations for modifications and future evolutions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
We are looking for someone to provide subject matter expertise and agile best practices to our team; as well as perform the following functions as a SIGINT Systems Engineer, by using a holistic approach and providing end -to-end systems engineering throughout our systems’ lifecycle:
- Coordinate CONOPS of SIGINT mission planning and scheduling systems
- Develop architecture products Write and translate requirements into Epics/Features based on emerging customer needs
- Understand system-to-system interfaces and act as an Integrator
- Evaluate system designs and trade-space proposed and implemented by our developers, while working in coordination with the acquisition offices (AOs)
- Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures
- Monitor system and segment schedules, recognize dependencies
- Identify risks and opportunities
- Facilitate readiness, release planning events, and demonstrations in support of system and acquisition-level sprints and increments
- Review Request for Changes (RFCs) and identify impacts, in addition author RFCs for the customer
- Support Agile and DevOps automated test and verification (VV&T)
- Integrate new systems and initiatives in support of expanded SIGINT mission planning and scheduling capabilities, work directly with our developers and users in operations!
- Participate in studies looking at the future generation of SIGINT capabilities spanning the next decade
Qualifications
Required:
- Requires 8 to 10 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years with MS/MA or 3 to 5 years with PhD
- Must possess and be able to maintain an active TS/SCI with Poly.
- More than 4 years’ experience with space/ground aerospace systems engineering/architecting
- BS in engineering, physics, or related technical degree
- Proven communication skills especially with senior (Lt Colonel and above) government officials
- Integration and closure experience within overall customer domain
- Willingness to learn new areas
- Commitment to recognize, understand, respect, and operate effectively within various SETA, FFRDC, and Government lines of Authority
Strongly Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with overall SIGINT ground customer, technical familiarity with mission control and/or processing of one or more SIGINT systems.
- Ability to work for direct IC customer and familiarity with that customer’s processes and organization
- Expertise in mission technical capabilities and system performance analysis and assessment
- Experience identifying user needs and gaps, identifying potential solutions, and assessing/analyzing alternatives
